NORTHERN LIGHTS TOUR
When you visit the Yukon in winter, experiencing the Northern Lights is a must! But will you see them?
During our Northern Lights Tour we will take you to our dark and secluded Aurora viewing location. When the Aurora is present, here you will have stunning views of all the spectacles in the sky.
Together we’ll have a true Yukon evening: outdoors with a campfire to keep us warm, hot drinks and hopefully a spectacular Aurora show from mother nature. There is also prospector tent that is heated by a woodstove to warm up on those really cold nights.
When it is more cloudy, there is also the option of going on an “Aurora hunt”, meaning we will drive to different locations, all in different directions, in order to find the best chance of seeing the lights.
This tour is ready to depart most days from halfway September to April. We’ll pick you up at your Whitehorse hotel, bed & breakfast or hostel and drive you to the viewing location.
Don’t forget your camera! Your guide will bring a tripod that you can use and will be happy to help you with selecting the right camera settings for taking photos of the night sky and hopefully the Northern Lights.
After the tour we will transfer you back to your accommodation.
